Partnership in Action: Society of St. Vincent de Paul and Charity Guild of Catholic Women Unite to Support Houston Families

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston is honored to be among the recipients of the Charity Guild of Catholic Women's significant grant initiative this year, where $764,200 was distributed among 63 nonprofits serving children in the Greater Houston area.

Through the dedicated efforts of volunteers at their consignment shop and the generosity of donors, the Charity Guild has granted us $10,000 to enhance our Underserved Communities Initiative. This funding will enable us to provide emergency relief to families with children, supporting them with financial aid, essential household items, and access to supportive services.

This contribution is part of the Charity Guild’s broader mission to aid organizations offering food, safe housing, affordable health care, clothing, educational support, mental health assistance, and recreational and enrichment services to children in need.

We express our deepest gratitude to the Charity Guild for their commitment to transforming the lives of the most vulnerable families in our community.
