Why the SVDP National Database Matters
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul’s national database is a crucial tool that connects our organization nationwide, helping us serve better by keeping all Vincentian records in one place. This means that if a Vincentian moves to a different state, their information and service history will seamlessly follow them, ensuring continuity and support wherever they go.
The National database is also vital for communication between our council office and individual conferences. It keeps lines open so that information, updates, and support reach Vincentians efficiently, allowing us to work together smoothly across Galveston - Houston.
Finally, the national database helps us track our members' service years, languages spoken, and their roles within their conferences. By understanding who our members are, we can support them better and celebrate their dedication. Keeping this database updated ensures accurate record-keeping and provides up-to-date information about our organization’s work and impact.
We encourage our Vincentians to maintain accurate, up-to-date records, allowing us to strengthen our bonds and carry our mission forward together.
Is your Conference actively using the National Database?
Yes we are!
We still need some work.
